Shine!
"When a man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself." Jacques-Yves Cousteau
Have you Given Yourself Permission to Shine?
A great leader once said, "You are capable of far more than you think you are!" It took a while for the magnitude of that statement to really sink in.
It was years later when I was wanting to do so much but feeling really frustrated with my life and stuck with this sense that I wasn't achieving enough or getting where I wanted to get to quick enough and feeling a little disillusioned, that my husband sat me down and said, "I want you to listen to this song I have found, I think you are being a little hard on yourself, you are doing a great job, you just need to believe in yourself a little... You have so much to give, so much to offer. I think you are amazing."
This is the song he played for me... Whenever I am feeling a little low or being a bit hard on myself, I like to play it, it always perks me up.
Since then I have continued on a journey, learning to give myself permission to shine, to step up to my potential, and hopefully "to shed a bit of light on the world"... I invite you to do the same.
It's amazing how much love and light people share and reflect at each other, it just takes the intention to get it started... giving yourself permission to shine. When you do so for yourself, you give others permission to do the same!
"May you live all the days of your life!" Jonathan Swift
